Day 5: Next Month

Another hard rain
brings blooms:
camellia, pansies,
daffodils and
every delicious
flowering tree imaginable. Your
garden turned and
harvest month far off, the
intelligent gardener never
jumps the gun.
Keep your pants on
lovie--it's only the
month of the lamb--
north winds will again
order us inside, so
protect delicate sprouts,
question planting
raised beds with starts
study Farmers Almanac--
timing is everything,
Unfortunately, there are
various early bird planters,
Xerxes, king of tomato sets and
young sprouts, still saws
zzzzs. Next month!
